Our story
Hi, I’m Miranda — wife, mom, entrepreneur, and the heart behind Things She’d Love.
My husband and I have been together for 14 years and married for 10, and we’ve walked through some incredibly difficult seasons together. After years of infertility, multiple rounds of IVF, a traumatic birth experience, and watching our son undergo emergency open-heart surgery at just 3 weeks old, life changed us in ways I can’t fully put into words.
Those years were heavy. Somewhere in the middle of surviving, healing, and carrying so much emotionally, I lost parts of myself — my creativity, my confidence, my spark, and honestly, a lot of the fun and feminine parts of who I was.
But slowly, through therapy, self-work, healing, and finding little things that brought me joy again, I began to rediscover myself.
And surprisingly… mystery boxes became part of that journey.
What started as me simply ordering mystery-scoop boxes for myself during a difficult season of life became so much more than a hobby. As a mystery-scoop shopper and consumer, I found so much joy in the thrill of opening something thoughtfully curated just for me. The colors, the accessories, the little luxuries, the creativity behind it all — it slowly helped me reconnect with parts of myself I had lost along the way.
It helped me reconnect with the version of myself that loved pretty details, accessorizing, gifting, creativity, and finding excitement in little things again.
At the same time, I’ve continued growing my digital marketing career, which I’ve been passionate about for over 14 years. Three years ago, I officially launched my own company, Homestead Digital Marketing, where I now serve as Founder & CEO, helping businesses grow through branding, website design, and marketing strategy.
Creating Things She’d Love has become such a fun and meaningful passion project alongside my marketing business — something built purely on joy, creativity, connection, and rediscovering what makes life feel fun again.
Things She’d Love is more than just curated mystery boxes. It’s about creating moments of excitement, comfort, self-expression, and happiness. Every curated box is packed with intention and designed to feel personal, cozy, fun, and uniquely yours.
